  • Each term is approximately 8 weeks long with about 32-teaching days.
  • At the end of each term, teachers are given a term break, from 1-3 days in between terms.  All days listed as national holidays are generally days off (unless prior stated by HQ) and are announced in the Academic Term Calendar.
  • Class schedules vary greatly by institute and student enrollment per semester (Approx. 4-12 students per class)
  • Teachers should prepare to teach classes between the hours of 6am and 10pm.
  • In addition to the teaching hours, Teachers are expected to spend no less than 2 hours throughout the day for their respective lesson planning with co-English Teachers, recording student evaluations, comments and grading, etc. (if necessary).
  • Those who unfortunately lack the number of classes to fulfill their contracted hours are required to participate in one-on-one, small group, and/or special classes via video conferencing, over the phone, and/or in the classroom. These extra classes are usually assigned by the Director/Pastor of the school.
